Trump's Disastrous Sunday
Following Trump's attack on Iran, his Sunday has been nothing short of disastrous.
The past day has been nothing short of chaotic—not just for the United States, but for Donald Trump himself. As political backlash intensifies over his decision to bomb Iran, Trump appears increasingly erratic. From turning on members of his own party to posting unhinged rants on Truth Social, the signs are clear: he’s unraveling.
The trouble began early this morning as more details emerged about the Iran strikes. While Trump and loyalists like Pete Hegseth and J.D. Vance rushed to celebrate the operation as a major success, new reporting tells a different story. According to The New York Times, the primary target—the Fordow nuclear facility—was damaged, but far from destroyed. Both American and Israeli assessments now cast doubt on the effectiveness of the strike. Despite Trump’s attempt to spin the attack as a win, the reality is still unfolding—and it’s not looking good.
Then things took a sharper turn. Criticism started pouring in from inside Trump’s own party. Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky slammed the strikes as “not constitutional.” Even Marjorie Taylor Greene—one of Trump’s most diehard allies—broke ranks, saying she disagreed with bombing Iran and “getting involved in a hot war that Israel started.” Her public dissent is a stunning departure from someone who almost never criticizes Trump.
Trump didn’t take it well. He lashed out at Massie in a furious Truth Social tirade, calling him “not MAGA” and a “simple-minded grandstander.” He went so far as to vow to campaign against him in Kentucky—an extraordinary move that highlights just how off-balance Trump has become.
Now the world waits to see how Iran will respond. While we all hope for restraint, the most likely outcome is some form of retaliation—which risks escalating the conflict further. Meanwhile, the president of the United States seems increasingly unstable. He’s lying openly, losing support within his own party, and spiraling in public view.
One thing is clear: Trump is not in control—and it’s showing.
I woke up depressed and fearful. In my almost 74 years I’ve lived through several conflicts, which are all disastrous for our economy and our very lives. Graduating from high school in ‘69, many of my friends did not return from Viet Nam. Or if they did come home they were forever changed. Even when I disagreed with war I usually believed that there was good advice to be had in Washington. That’s not true today. The administration is filled with incompetence and maniacal leaders. What chaos are they leading us into, and how many lives will it cost? Those in control fill me with dread and anxiety. And I’m usually a very optimistic person! Are there any positives, Harry?
Thank you,Harry, for your updates. He's throwing a tantrum for attention he didn't get for his birthday parade. He's playing very dangerously with other's lives. He's put our military, stationed in the Middle East,at grave risk. He needs to be impeached and his regime taken out with him.
